Can't decide? Here are the three most important things to think about when choosing a dildo.
First, choose a dildo style based on what you want to use it for. Dildos come in a variety of styles and can be used vaginally or anally. Realistic dildos look like real penises, G-spot dildos have curved tips, anal dildos have a flared base or handle for safety, strap on dildos are fitted to a harness for strap-on sex, suction cup dildos can be temporarily attached to flat surfaces, double ended dildos are designed to penetrate two people at the same time, and packing dildos are used to give the appearance of having a penis.

Common body-safe dildo materials include silicone, metal, glass, and rubber that’s 100% phthalates and latex-free. If using a dildo made of porous materials, such as TPE or TPR rubber, it can harbour bacteria and should be disposed of after nine months or used with a condom. Read our sex toy material guide for more information.
The size of your dildo is extremely important as the longer the dildo, the larger the girth. If you’re a beginner, we recommend starting with a maximum insertable length of 6-7 inches, and up to 5 inches in girth.
