Amy Joy (she/her) is a sex and sex-toy positive pleasure seeker who enjoys sharing her expertise on sex-toys and writes reviews and guides to help you pick your perfect new sex toy! Growing up with Endometriosis and Fibromyalgia and finding a severe lack in information on the topic, Amy is passionate about using her personal knowledge to help others have honest and deep communications around sex and pleasure.
Amy believes that women’s reproductive health is an under-discussed, under-funded topic, and she aims to shed light on important topics that aren’t normally shared or talked about. Sex can be a way to heal; a gateway to cleansing our body of years of sex-negative dialogue and exploring our most intimate selves.
As a plus-size, disabled body, she aims to share and inspire others in the disabled community and help normalise sex for everybody. Everybody deserves love, passion, intimacy, and fun, safe exploration. As a proud body-positive bisexual woman, Amy has a special interest in exploring the ideas of queer fem sexuality, and what that means for life and sex, sharing her excitement for the all the beautiful things that celebrate our bodies.
Spreading natural healing experiences and progressive ideas towards the female body and sex, Amy will be writing articles about Endometriosis, Queer Fem Identity, Relationship Advice, Sex-Toy Reviews, and more!
As an avid plant-mum, when she’s not working on her Creative Writing study through Whitireia she can be found tending to her indoor jungle or creating art for her Instagram. Writing for ATMS will contribute experience towards her Diploma in Editing & Publishing for 2023, and she hopes to be able to freelance and travel in the future.
